Still waiting on the weather to be able to get into the sugar bush to stretch lines and set up for tapping the maple trees...mother nature has us in a tight grip of winter. Long range forecast doesn't look good for getting into the bush in the next week. We are preparing the evaporator room for when the sap is flowing. Traditionally, sap doesn't run in Haliburton County consistently until around the 3rd week in March. Don't worry, there is still lots to see at Wintergreen. We are open for the season starting Sat. March 7 and through all of March and April Sat. and Sun. 9-4 p.m. come and tour the bush, have a meal, taste all our sample products, get a toy from the treasure box, and meet up with old friends. Spring has to come sooner or later!!!
