At the Minden Cultural Centre Wintergreen gave samples of their "Fire and Ice" menu items during the Family Day Activities. The Theme was "hot" Wintergreen served Fire and Ice Pancakes (mini pancakes, pulled pork with Mango Hot Sauce, and topped with cool Coleslaw with hot sauce and maple syrup) Hot food sampling fun was had by all. This week we are busy with the Senior's Games, volunteering, providing gift baskets, and running a trade show at Pinestone on Wed. 18th to showcase all the wonderful things that happen in the Highlands throughout the whole year. Waiting for the temp. to increase to get our "Bush work" done for maple syrup production.
